Last evening, we ( Me, Saufi and Bibo ) went location scouting around for some potential places that can be used for any up-coming shoots. It was a horrid experience at first because just the moment we left our houses it started to rain. We had to wait around until it stopped, and also I was worried I might miss the sunset’ish totally. Upon arrival, we were baffled that we found other 2 cars parked in this remote location. My first guess would be some artsy fartsy people might have beat us to it, and we were right judging by the rapid-flashes of photography strobes we saw nearby. Biasalah, I first saw a guy with a camera then out she came, the model *sigh. I quickly got my portable beauty dish out of the car and started shooting! I took all the shots I needed to make it some sort future references. The reason I bought the Beauty Dish in the first place, compared to an umbrella or a softbox light will start to lose power over distance and the material it has to penetrate. Beauty dish does it much more efficiently by reflecting and making it a larger light source, meaning less power needed and plus can go further! But of course as a trade off you wont get super soft diffused light, but shadows are good too! Super duper thank you Mr.Saufi for jadi Mat Tiang Boom. We had fun, and I almost totally forgot how fun it is to go out and explore new places with camera buddies! Most definitely I will do this much more often from now on. Oh and how I love how it turned out!

Harrooo!
I’ve been noticing myself not doing much personal projects in the past few months ( a full year to be exact ). So I figured I’d better start somewhere with all the random pictures I took. Meet Azimpuch, as many misread people might know him by “Azim… wait for it. PUNCH!” So whats the occasion me taking a photo of him in this time out of the blue. Recently, I just bought a Pro Strobist Beauty Dish thing-a-majig, needed somebody to test this baby out, I guess he was there at the right time hehe. Anyway, he’s a very close cousin of mine and also he’s an awesome wedding photographer! ( it makes no sense I took a picture of him with a purple skateboard, nampak muda sikit kot ) I said to myself that he is worthy to mention, why? As other special people, get special treatment of course! I really admire his simple/minimalistic approach to wedding. He simplify everything and made it look super easy, in a good way of course!. Don’t get fooled by his “abang cumel” appearance, he’s been in the wedding photography industry for well over 5 years and have covered weddings in Singapore, Jakarta, Brunei just to name a few. He is now currently employed as one of the members in Itudio Studio based in Kelana Jaya alongside Sue Anna Joe. I’d highly recommend you to check him out at www.azimpuch.com.my.

I’d like to credit Bibo Aswan for giving me the opportunity to take these lovely photographs.
